Lars Leksell Gamma Knife Fellowship

At the University of Virginia's Lars Leksell Gamma Knife Center, Drs. Steiner and Sheehan have had a long history of training physicians in the subspeciality of stereotactic radiosurgery. U.S. and foreign physicians come to our center to learn the practice and principles of radiosurgery. Many of these physicians have gone on to direct leading radiosurgical centers throughout the world. The fellowship is recognized by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the World Federation of Neurological Surgeons.
