Bio: Dr. Jane, Jr. attended college at the University of Chicago where he graduated with honors. He then returned to Virginia with his wife Robin and attended medical school at the University of Virginia where he also completed his general surgery internship and began neurosurgical residency in 1997. After spending a year as a Fellow in Neurosurgery at Auckland Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, he returned to UVA to finish his chief year in Neurosurgery. He then completed a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship acting as the Chief Fellow of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the renowned Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He has written over 60 peer-reviewed articles and 20 chapters, and been an invited speaker over 40 times. He and Robin have two children, John and Maddie. |
