The James Q. Miller Consultative Multiple Sclerosis Clinic

The James Q. Miller Consultative Multiple Sclerosis Clinic is a growing effort to provide comprehensive support for the multi-faceted needs of the MS patient. The following clinical services are available:

  • Diagnostic evaluations
  • Second opinion assessments
  • Drug therapy trials
  • Multi-disciplinary approach to care including: functional and cognitive assessments, physical and occupational therapy, social work, and neuropsychology testing and therapy.
  • Telemedicine access for neurological consultations

Elective clinical rotations are offered to residents.

Neuropsychology

Fuchs
  Dr. Fuchs is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist.  She does cognitive evaluations of individuals with MS and uses test results to guide development of compensation strategies.  She also provides psychotherapy for individuals with MS and/or family members struggling to cope with new MS diagnosis or MS-related changes.

Study Coordinator

 Margaret Keller   Ms. Keller coordinates the MS clinical research trials and our multi-disciplinary MS clinic.  As part of the multi-disciplinary clinic she also provides patient education relating to MS and it's treatment.  She was a founding member of the MS clinic in 2000 and has worked in clinical research trials since 1993.
