The EEG/EP Laboratory
The Electroencephalography and Evoked Potential Laboratory carries out the following tests and procedures:
- Regular EEGs and activation procedures
- Patient monitoring through closed-circuit television and EEGs
- EEGs through telemetry and ambulatory cassette EEG recordings
- Presurgical workups and intraoperative monitoring
- All modalities of evoked potential studies
The EMG Laboratory
The Electromyography Laboratory performs the following tests and procedures:
- Nerve conduction studies
- Needle electromyography
- Autonomic function testing
- Intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring
The Neuropsychology Laboratory
The Neuropsychology Laboratory performs the following neuropsychological/psychological services:
- Assessment of dementia/pseudodementia
- Complete cognitive neuropsychological evaluation
- Evaluation of psychological/psychiatric contributions to medical disorders
- Psychotherapeutic intervention and treatment
The Neurovascular Laboratory
The Neurovascular Laboratory, conducts noninvasive cerebrovascular evaluations through the following advanced modalities:
- Duplex carotid scanning
- Continuous wave Doppler Ultrasonography
- Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography
