A Special Christmas Gift!
On Thursday December 20th, 2007, NETS staff members, Cynthia Dean, Jason Morris, Audrey Porter, Bethany Shoff, and Patrick Watson, made a special surprise visit to Greene County. The NETS staff delivered a very special Christmas gift to Callie Wilson. Callie is the daughter of Andy Wilson who worked for NETS until his tragic death in February of 2007.
The team was well equipped with presents. The group purchased a gift card to "Build a Bear" for Callie. A special thanks to Jo Scott and Jason Morris who headed this project and organized the trip, Scott Kunkel (Director) and Greg Freeman (Manager) who donated multiple Pegasus items to deliver to her as well. Callie was intially very shy but quickly warmed up to the NETS staff members and even took a personal tour of the Ambulance.
Callie loved her gifts, especially the Pegasus hat! Callie, her Mom, and her grandparents were very thankful that NETS was thinking about her during this tough Holiday season for her and her family. NETS wanted Callie to know how much Andy meant to the group and what a great guy he was. Andy still is and always will be missed by his fellow NETS peers. NETS hopes to make this a yearly tradition!
