The Division of Nephrology and Center for Immunity, Inflammation and Regenerative Medicine, is recruiting for full-time physician-scientists. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a 21-member, interactive clinical and research group. Funded projects include: defining immune mechanisms of acute kidney injury, diabetic nephropathy, glomerulonephritis, transplant rejection, lupus nephritis and other autoimmune diseases using advanced immunological, molecular and genetic approaches. The physician scientist will devote ~80% effort to research activities and have limited teaching and clinical responsibilities. Secondary appointments are available in appropiate basic science departments.

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. All applications are welcome, especially from investigators with expertise in mouse genetics and immunology and transplant immunobiology.

The Division of Nephrology and the Center for Immunity, Inflammation and Regenerative Medicine is recruiting for full-time full-time clinical faculty. Responsibilities will include management of over 750 ESRD patients along with several other clinical nephrologists, consultative nephrology in a 570 bed teaching hospital, and training of medical students, residents and renal fellows. Clinical research opportunities are available if desired. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a 21-member, interactive clinical and research group that includes NIH-funded investigators and training program. Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.
