Curriculum Editor
1 Position
NOT AVAILABLE

This position is open to a rising 4th year.  The Curriculum Report is an annual document published by the Mulholland Society whose purpose is objective review of the 3rd year curriculum based on student evaluations completed by the graduating class during the previous year, while they were rotating through their clinical clerkships. The Editor of the report coordinates the publication during her/his fourth year by selecting chapter authors (one author per each 3rd year clerkship+neurology), reviewing first drafts, compiling the final draft, and writing the executive summary including an introduction to the publication.  This document is then published in the spring and given to the clerkship directors and the Mulholland Society.  The Editor receives 4 elective credits for this work, which can be done as a block or spread out through the year, so long as the final product is completed in the spring.  Each of the eight chapter authors receives 2 credits for review of one clerkship.  In addition, the Editor is responsible for attending monthly meetings with the Student Medical Education Committee.  Administrative support available from the Office of Medical Education under the auspices of Dr. Jerry Short, who also serves as elective director.
