ABOUT CABELL

The Cabell Society was begun in 1997. The goal of the club is to introduce the discipline of surgery to 1st and 2nd year medical students. The club is open to ALL medical students, regardless of whether surgery is a current career interest. The club sponsors talks, social events, and a surgeon shadowing  program.  For those inclined towards a surgical career, the club is designed to help gain exposure to surgery and its subspecialties in the first two years.
