Background:

Shannon joined the motion lab in December, 2005. Prior to that, she practiced at Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Centers throughout Richmond, VA.  She coordinates ongoing research projects for the motion lab, in addition to performing gait analysis evaluations.  She also serves as the legislative chair for the VPTA central district chapter.

Interests:

Research interests include advocacy/legislation for children with special health care needs, fitness for children of all ages and ability levels, and working in the motion lab to identify research questions regarding musculoskeletal development.
