Nathan Charlton

Nathan Charlton, M.D.

Dr. Charlton began his Medical Toxicology Fellowship in July, 2007. He received his M.D. from The University of South Florida in Tampa, and completed his residency in emergency medicine at The University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C.  Email Dr. Charlton 

  

Graduated Fellows

DavidLawrenceDavid Lawrence, D.O.

Dr. Lawrence completed his fellowship in July, 2008, and joined the staff of the Division of Medical Toxicology at the University of Virginia Health System. Prior to his fellowship, he served 2 years as a community emergency Medicine physician in Connecticut and Long Island, NY. He received his D.O. degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in emergency medicine at SUNY-Stony Brook Hospital in N.Y. Email Dr. Lawrence

Tracey ReillyTracey Reilly, M.D.

Dr. Reilly joined the fellowship in July, 2005. She graduated from Upstate Medical University at Syracuse, NY, and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine there as well. In June 2007 she joined the staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician and Medical Toxicologist.

 

FellowsAndy Baer, M.D.
Assoc. Medical Director, Blue Ridge Poison Center

Dr. Baer graduated from the UVA Medical Toxicology Fellowship in 2004. He has since become boarded in Medical Toxicology, and is a part-time assistant clinical professor at UVA. He works as an attending at the Blue Ridge Poison Center assisting with clinical services. He also holds a full-time emergency medicine position at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. Dr. Baer's interest and expertise pertains to the visual diagnosis of toxicological diseases.

Dave Orlando

David Eldridge, M.D.

Dr. Eldridge graduated from the UVA Medical Toxicology Fellowship in 2005. His primary specialty is pediatrics. Currently he serves as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University. He is also the physician representative to the Lead Advisory Committee for the Control & Prevention of Lead Toxicity for the North Carolina Dept. of Health.

 

Adam RowdenAdam Rowden, D.O.

Dr. Rowden graduated from the UVA Medical Toxicology Fellowship in 2006. He received his degree in Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA., and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Seton Hall in Newark, NJ. Dr. Rowden currently serves as an Emergency Medicine Physicial and Medical Toxicologist at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
