Medical Toxicology Education

Public Poison Education, For Health Care Professionals, Toxicology Rotations, Fellowship Program, Lead Poisoning Education, Teaching Faculty 

The Division of Medical Toxicology offers an extensive training rotation service for individuals from various medical specialties (physicians, nurses, pharmacists); and a semi-annual 2-week Wilderness Medicine Course. The Division also offers the only Medical Toxicology Fellowship in Virginia. 

Students practice the medical management of many toxicological conditions using the human patient simulator.
