Medical Toxicology Education

Public Poison Education, For Health Care Professionals, Toxicology Rotations, Fellowship Program, Lead Poisoning Education

The Division of Medical Toxicology offers an extensive educational rotation service for medical students, residents, nurses, and pharmacists, as well as the only Medical Toxicology Fellowship in Virginia.  Professional and public educational programs totalled 324 in 2006. 

Students practice the medical management of many toxicological conditions using the human patient simulator.
