SPECIMEN REQUIREMENTS:
This study is usually available with consult from the Surgical Pathologist. All specimens must have a label affixed with the patient name, medical record number and/or date of birth. All specimens must be accompanied by a completed Surgical Pathology Requisition.
TESTING SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7am-5pm, All other times available by Pathologists/Pathology Resident on call.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Special Handling is required. Specimen must be processed immediately following biopsy. Formalin fixed tissue is not acceptable. Hand delivery directly to the lab, UH Room 2642
