The Principles of Medicine Committee is responsible to the Curriculum Committee and Dean for effecting the goals, objectives and teaching responsibilities of the curriculum for each course; for maintaining a schedule of teaching activities, coordinating exams and evaluations.

ELECTIVES DIRECTOR

Course/Clerkship/Electives Director is responsible to the Principles of Medicine and Clinical Medicine committee chairs for effecting the teaching responsibilities of the individual program assuring student mastery of material; responsibility for student evaluation, recommendation for promotion and remediation efforts.

Directors are recommended by department chairs in consultation with the Principles and/or Clinical committees and with approval and appointment by the Curriculum Committee.
