Recommendations for handling purified antibodies
This preparation should be dialyzed against Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) or similar isotonic solution commonly used for storing antibodies. The preparation is currently in a combination of Acetic Acid and Tris at a pH of approximately 7.0.
The activity of the prep should be assayed prior to storage
Solutions of purified antibodies should be stored at relatively high concentrations (> 1mg/ml) at a neutral pH. Concentrations up to 10mg/ml are commonly used. Antibodies at lower concentrations should be concentrated prior to freezing.
Dispense the antibody in convenient volumes and store at -20°C.
