Heartsaver AED Courses
The Heartsaver AED courses are for the lay person with a duty to respond. All AHA BLS courses are two year certifications.The student learns how to treat the adult/child/infant patient in cardiac arrest using BLS/CPR, proper technique on using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and choking emergencies. Participants practice skills using the Practice While Watch video concept and perform a practical skills evaluation. There is no written test for the Heartsaver courses.
