The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illnesses and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles of First Aid, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies.
The Heartsaver First Aid Online course can be purchased with or without the CPR & AED Renewal Course. This course teaches the same material as the classroom-based Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/ AED Course. Topics covered include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR, and AED use.
The Heartsaver First Aid Online Course requires successful completion of the hands on first aid skills session. If the online CPR & AED Renewal course was included then the student will also need to complete a CPR/AED Skills Test in order to receive their Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card.
