Admission Criteria
Guests may stay at the Hospitality House or Apartments if you are a University of Virginia Health System patient in current active treatment or a family member of a current inpatient. A social worker, doctor or nurse from UVa provides a referral to one of our Hospitality House staff. Referrals are required to make sure rooms are available for those in need.
Criteria:
- Adult guest with permanent address more than 60 miles from the Health System
- A maximum of 3 guests from each family
- Ability to function independently
To make a reservation at one of our facilities contact your physician's office and ask for a referral.
Check In:
Guests may check in at anytime throughout the day or night. Guests are asked to call if not arriving before 7:00 pm so that we can hold the room.
When you arrive we will review all of the services and provide you a tour of the facility. We are staffed by employees and volunteers to welcome you and answer any questions that you may have.
