Introduction
The Library has many resources for specific applications. Resources are available in various formats including Web tutorials, ITC workshops or Byte Size Seminars, and online courses. The University of Virginia’s Human Resources, Office of Learning & Development, offers Web-based Training & Professional Development offerings (E-Learning) to the University community. The UVa HR SkillSoft Web site provides unlimited and anytime access to over 3000 interactive courses including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel.

- ITC Byte Size Seminars, http://www.itc.virginia.edu/training/bytesize/ Byte Size Seminars are 1.5-2 hour hands-on workshops on a tool/tip/trick. Class size is limited, so please enroll early. Classes are free and are held in Carruthers Hall 248 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- ITC Instructor Led Courses (fee based) http://fusion.web.virginia.edu/dotweb/itcslist.cfm The course offerings include other applications besides Microsoft Office.

- Library classes in PowerPoint are free and available to Health System staff, faculty, and students. Visit the Library’s Education Web Page for additional resources. Register for a PowerPoint class using the online registration form.

ITC provides access to more than 400 online video courses through the Virtual Training Company (VTC). To see a list of available courses, go to VTC.com http://www.vtc.com/. You may preview the first three chapters of any course free of charge. To see VTC’s online courses, you must have Quicktime installed on your computer.
