Can’t Make the Next History of the Health Sciences Lecture? Then Catch It Later

Miss one of the lectures of the History of the Health Sciences Series or just can’t attend? Not a problem because the Historical Collections & Services Department is offering lecture recordings via Webcast and Podcast. This means that lectures are now accessible via the Internet from virtually anywhere and anytime after they occur.

The Webcast allows you to listen to a streaming version of the lecture right on your own computer. The Podcast option offers more mobility, as you can download an MP3 version of the recording directly onto your computer or mobile device, such as an iPod.

We are excited to offer this free new service and hope that it will be widely used. For Webcasts and Podcasts from the University of Virginia community, including those from the History of the Health Sciences Lecture Series, go to UVa’s Podcasts and Webcasts page.

Have a question about these new Internet services? Contact Andrew Sallans at 924-0052 or als9q@virginia.edu.
