View Surgeries Online

Ever heard or read about a surgery but needed a visual to fully understand it? Curious as to what type of surgical techniques other institutions are using? If so, MedlinePlus has over 100 different surgical procedures available for viewing on the Web. Each video is approximately one hour long with commentary by physicians observing the surgery as well as those performing it. Background information on the procedure is also presented as is the condition necessitating it.

In order to view the videos, you will need RealPlayer. If you do not have it, you will be prompted to obtain a free download of the software before you view the presentation.
