Library Technology Services & Development (LTSD) Department is to keep all Library computer services running efficiently with minimal downtime.
We support all staff and public computers in the Library as well as specialty hardware, such as barcode scanners and flatbed scanners. We deploy and manage all desktop application software and network clients and support specialty applications like Ariel and ILLiad. We work with Alderman Library to support software related to the SIRSI OPAC system as well as ITC to ensure that Library switches, servers, and network infrastructure remains operational. We assist the Library’s Webmaster with developing and enhancing the Library’s Web site and provide technical guidance as needed for Library initiatives.
