Main Floor Projected Floorplan

As the center of Library research activities, the main floor will be redesigned for maximum accessibility. A lobby area will provide a welcoming entrance and establish an orientation point leading to major service areas and collections. Service desks will be redesigned to enhance both attractiveness and functionality. The journal collection stacks will be reoriented for ease of use and allow more fluid circulation through the building. New reading areas will provide inviting library environments with multiple study options, from an elegant reading room, to casual group spaces, and individual study carrels.
