Dr. J. Michael Mangrum, Director of UVa's Atrial Fibrillation Center

, discusses treatments for atrial fibrillation, a condition affecting 2.5 million Americans in which the atria in the upper chambers of the heart quiver instead of pumping blood effectively. Dr. Mangrum is involved in a multitude of cutting-edge studies in the clinical management of atrial fibrillation.
