MINI-FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
IN EVIDENCE-BASED CARDIOLOGY Target Audience: This short-term program is designed for international cardiologists and internists who are actively involved in patient care.
Educational Goal: To provide visiting physicians with an opportunity to update their knowledge and skills in the field of cardiovascular medicine. International physicians will participate in the bedside teaching rounds, "read-with-expert" sessions, and workshops. They will visit our Emergency Room, Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac MRI laboratories. Participants will also have access to all new information in the field of cardiology through medical journals, books, videotapes, Medline, and Internet at the Health Sciences Center Library. All teaching materials developed by educators at UVa will be also available to the participants. |
