"My internship year here at the University of Virginia is turning out to be an amazing experience. I have been most impressed with the emphasis placed on direct patient care, education, and research, and the diverse patient population we interact with in multiple clinical settings. The collegial attitude among faculty, residents, and staff make the hospital environment at UVA truly unique and the friendships I've formed with my fellow residents will last a lifetime.
The city of Charlottesville has a lot to offer both socially and culturally. Most of all, though, I enjoy the daily interactions I have with my patients, the academic nature of the program, and the challenges and satisfaction of residency training. I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to train here and would recommend the program to my colleagues with the highest regard."
