For those interested in nephrology nursing, UVa Renal Services offer a variety of settings across Central Virginia, including:
- A progressive Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Clinic and procedure area
- Seven outpatient dialysis facilities located in Charlottesville and surrounding counties
- Three acute programs in three facilities -- the UVa Medical Center, Centra Health's Lynchburg General Hospital and Augusta Medical Center
In addition to providing state-of-the-art technology, we offer a highly collaborative working environment that supports nurse autonomy. Professional development, support of nephrology certification, renal-specific continuing education and nursing research opportunities are always available and encouraged.
