Seventh Floor Live
Seventh Floor Live is broadcast live on Channel 12 from the 7th floor studio in University Hospital on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Charlie, the University of Virginia Children's Hospital resident mascot bear , and his friends host a talk show that stars 7th
floor patients. Spotlighted are the latest hospital happenings along
with some fun "bear antics." A special TV release must be signed by a
parent or guardian for children to be on camera in the studio. This
form is available from Hospital Education Program (HEP) staff.
Patients who are unable to come to the studio are encouraged to watch
via Channel 12 and participate by telephone from their rooms. The
studio phone number appears on the television screen.
