Whenever Crystal is admitted to the hospital, she visits everybody and enthusiastically participates in every possible art, television, and educational activity. During her last extended admission, Crystal was stranded in her room, too sick to make her usual rounds. Over one long night, Crystal's mother Connie created this quilt. Charlie, the CMC mascot, was thrilled when Crystal and Connie presented the quilt to him on his TV show, Seventh Floor Live.
