We have created this site to answer most of your preliminary questions concerning the Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Virginia. We sincerely hope that you will find it helpful and will not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions. Our next available fellowship opening is for one first-year opening for the 2011-2012 academic year. We currently have no anticipated 1st year vacancies for the 2010-2011 academic year. Although we have no openings for 2nd or 3rd year positions, you are welcome to contact our office at anytime to determine if an opening has become unexpectedly available. For the next application period, 2011-2012 academic year, we will be using ERAS application procedures and will participate in the national NRMP match. Applications will be accepted through ERAS until January 31, 2010. In addition to the information here, you may find the overview of the medical center provided by housestaff office useful.
