This course is designed as a combination of brief lectures and small group sessions, led by experienced members of the faculty in biological and medical sciences. Students are expected to be prepared for discussion of cases to be presented by the faculty and to bring their reading to bear upon the discussion.
There will be four 1.5 hour meetings, three 1.5 hour group sessions and the final meeting will be a panel discussion.

The Instructor's signature of approval must also be obtained in order to enroll - to obtain the instructor's signature please bring the Permission to Enroll Form to the Graduate Programs Office
Standard Community Scholar tuition rates for Spring 2009 as of 6/2008:
In-State: $287.00 per credit hour
Out-of-State: $1000.00 per credit hour
(In addition to tuition, a $5.00 per credit hour administrative technology fee is assessed)
Small Groups:
- Following "sign in" at session 1, students will be assigned to small groups. The members of each group, the name of the group leader, and the meeting location for each group will be posted to this site by 5PM January 19th.
