Special Interests:
Dr. Easton continues to lecture extensively to both medical professionals and community members, to be actively involved in the medical leadership of Russell County Medical Center, and to pursue a wide range of professional, personal and spiritual activities that help improve the quality of life for men, women and children in southwest Virginia.
Family:
Dr. Easton and his wife have three children. He enjoys biking and running. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, family gatherings, and church activities.
Time in Practice:
In 2000, Dr. Easton, along with Dr. Hughes Melton co-founded Highlands Family Medicine. As part of his commitment to helping others, he spent several months working in Africa as a volunteer medical missionary.
Medical School:
Dr. Easton earned his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from the University of Virginia.
Residency:
He completed his Family Medicine Residency training program at the University of Virginia, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Board Certifications:
Dr. Easton is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and currently serves the University of Virginia as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia, the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Practice and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Description of Practice:
As specialists in Family Medicine, we offer full-service care for disorders related to the heart, lungs, abdomen and digestive systems, kidneys, joints, nerves, hormonal and reproductive systems, blood, and skin. We also provide treatment for sudden illnesses and injuries such as infections, cuts, fractures, sprains and strains, skin problems, minor trauma, as well as in-office minor surgery and occupational medicine.
