I graduated from Baroda Medical College in India. Time goes fast - I have finished my residency and am now a Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine! It was a smooth transition from India to USA. I am really lucky that I chose the UVA family medicine program for my career. Our faculty are down to earth. We have excellent nursing staff in the family medicine clinic. The relationship among residents is friendly and open. I realized through my rotation with different departments during residency that our department is well respected by other departments in hospital. I was given enough opportunity in different departments to meet my goal during different rotations. I am really excited that I chose UVA Family Medicine program and I hope you strongly consider the UVA program for your future career.
