Charlottesville has been my home now for over three years, and I couldn't be happier. My wife, Amber, and I came here for residency after being wowed by amazing scenery and wonderful people. I am now staying on as a fellow in order to further pursue my interest in academics and evidence based medicine. It's safe to say that after being here as a resident, I feel quite at home in the department. While being involved in innumerable academic pursuits, the faculty here are very focused on resident education which you can see in the caliber of residents we have. As a fellow, I am more involved in teaching and facilitating sessions on evidence based medicine, precepting in clinic, and my own scholarly interests. Amber and I are very much enjoying a bit more free time to explore all that Charlottesville and Virginia have to offer. It really is a great place to call home. |
