Purpose: Recognizes superior teaching activities including didactic lectures, clinical instruction, the development of innovative educational programs, as well as the endorsement by faculty, residents, and students.
Who may nominate? Academic chair or departmental directors submit a complete official application form (individual faculty are not eligible more than once every three years).
Who is eligible? A member in good standing of ACEP, holding an academic appointment at a US allopathic or osteopathic medical school, who has maintained current board certification in emergency medicine.
