Award: $1,000 for professional or personal development

Purpose: Honors the high degree of professionalism, creativity, and commitment that characterized Elizabeth Zintl's significant contribution to the University of Virginia. Also recognizes that such leadership is found n many areas and positions within the academic community/ This award is made annually to a woman at UVa by means of a pan-university nomination and selection process.

Who is eligible? A woman currently employed at UVa
Criteria:
* A woman currently employed in any area of the University
* Excellence in work that makes a direct and significant impoact on
the core academic enterprise of the University
* Unusually high degree of service to the University, within and beyond the
expectations of the position description.
The nomination packet: a letter of nomination; three letters of support - two from UVa and one be from outside the nominee's department or school; a current resume or vita.
