Emily Clifton
Emily Clifton is a sophomore at Sweet Briar College, near Lynchburg,
VA. She is considering a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is the Pre-Med Scholar for the Sweet Briar Class of 2008.
She is the eldest daughter of Keith and Susan Clifton. She is from Southern Maryland, and is employed by the Department of Justice's Office of Consumer Litigation. She is considering a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is the Pre-Med Scholar for the Sweet Briar Class of 2008.
She plans on attending medical school upon graduation from college.
Stanley Lau
Stan is a Fourth-Year student from Richmond, Virginia who is majoring in English and minoring in bioethics. He is predominantly interested in the areas of public health, healthcare policy, and health law. After graduating, he hopes to teach English for one or two years before entering graduate school for public health and law. Although teaching bioethics also remains a distinct possibility for Stan, he intends to work for non-profit organizations which advocate patient rights. He is involved with Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed community service fraternity), University Mediation Services, Madison House, and other various community-oriented groups. He is the son of Ringo and Mina Lau, and he has one sister, Dianna, a freshman at Longwood University.
