  • The Virginia Center for Diabetes Professional Education  (VCDPE) , is a unique resource for providers of diabetes care in Virginia since 1987, with the mission of improving the quality and quantity of health care available to persons with diabetes in Virginia.  Located at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, the Center's programs are supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia and benefit health care providers throughout the state.  It's multidisciplinary staff, representing endocrinology, nursing, nutrition, and psychology, bring a variety of essential expertise to the Center's educational programs and services.  We encourage providers who are interested in the Center's programs to contact us for more details on how we might be of assistance.
