Carol Parrish has 26 years of clinical experience; the past 16 of which have been spent specializing in nutrition support and GI disorders at the University of Virginia Health System (UVAHS) Digestive Health Center of Excellence. Carol founded the Medicine Nutrition Support Service in 1991, began the home nutrition support program at our Home Health Company, developed the GI Nutrition Clinic, originated our Celiac Support Group, and is the co-founder of both nutrition support traineeship programs. She has been the series editor for the popular Practical Gastroenterology Journal's nutrition series since 2003.
Carol's interests include nutrition support, gastroparesis, short gut/malabsorptive syndromes, celiac disease, pancreatitis and many other GI disorders.
