Adults with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, ages 22-64, are needed for a research study at UVa Health System, Division of Endocrinology. The purpose of the study is to look at a urine assessment system which may prevent kidney damage.
The study involves a screening visit (about1 hour) and 1-3 outpatient visits (about 10 minutes each). The study lasts for 1- 6 weeks and involves a blood draw and three 24-hour urine collections.
Study-related tests are provided free of charge. Compensation of $50 is provided for this study.
