Transforming the Landscape of Health Care
The UVa Health System is pushing beyond the frontiers of medical knowledge, pioneering innovations in patient care and finding more effective ways to train new generations of health care providers. Expanded and updated space is essential to meeting these goals.
American medical and nursing education is changing rapidly. New facilities will enable us to accommodate new technological advances and prepare for the future. Our clinical centers provide care for a growing number of patients each year. To answer these challenges, UVa has launched a historic campaign to expand and elevate our programs.
With your support, we will build a new clinical cancer building and children's hospital, state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to promoting breakthroughs in patient care. We will dramatically accelerate our research programs with two medical research buildings. And we will construct new nursing and medical education buildings designed specifically to prepare students for a new era in health care.
