Types of Gifts

Gifts to the UVA Health System take many forms. Some donors choose to make a gift to an annual fund, while the generosity and interest of other donors may lead them to support a specific research project or endowed fund. Many gift options are available to our donors, some of which qualify donors for one of UVA's recognition societies.

You may choose to make a gift in honor of or in memory of an individual, family member, physician, nurse, or professor who made an impact on your life. When making a memorial gift, please indicate the area you would like to support, the name of the individual that you are making the gift in honor or in memory of, and the name and contact information for anyone that you would like the Health System Development Office to notify of your gift.

Please note:
In order to provide for the general support of the UVA Health System and its affiliates, 5% of each gift installment will be designated for unrestricted operating funds of the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, or the Medical Center. Learn more.
