The Campaign for Health
We have reached a critical point in the history of medicine. Advances in technology and molecular science offer unprecedented opportunities to save lives and reduce suffering. The UVA Health System combines research, clinical care, education, and outreach in a single institution. We have the ability to rapidly and efficiently translate new knowledge into dramatically improved therapies for patients, and up-to-the-minute curricula for medical and nursing students.
Through the Campaign for Health, we will add the necessary resources to turn an innovative program into a true national pacesetter. We will build new state-of-the-art clinical facilities dedicated to promoting breakthroughs in patient care and education buildings designed to prepare students for a new era in healthcare. At the same time, we will dramatically accelerate our internationally renowned research programs.
You can become a partner in this effort. By working together, we can transform the landscape of healthcare and realize the full, lifesaving potential of twenty-first century medicine. Learn more about areas you can support.

Our Valued Volunteers
Volunteers play a critical role in Campaign for Health and the success of our Health System programs. They lend their energy, their vision, and their counsel to make our programs stronger. Development volunteers, who are often community leaders and among our key supporters, help us identify major needs, promote our programs, and map a vision for our future.
