Matching Gifts
Many employers encourage charitable giving by matching their employees' contributions to qualifying organizations. Companies can match contributions at a 1:1 or even 2:1 ratio. To find out if your company or your spouse's company will match your donation to the UVa Health System, contact the company's human resources department. Matching gifts from a donor's employer are credited to the donor for giving society recognition.
