Annual gifts are contributions for the current use of the Health System or any of its programs or schools. Donations may be restricted to specific areas or left undesignated, providing us with the ability to meet unexpected needs and respond to unforeseen opportunities. Annual gifts impact all areas of the Health System. Some specific annual fund programs follow:
- Become a Partner or Friend in Health Care
These funds fuel growth, expansion, and excellence in research, education, and patient care.
- Support the UVa Children's Hospital Telethon
The CMC Telethon has raised over $10 million for children's health and care. Past Telethon funds have been used to purchase medical equipment, toys, patient education materials, computers, and other vital resources.
- Corporate Partners Program
Corporations invest in developing innovative, early-stage technologies and therapeutics. In return, they are given access to faculty researchers through all stages of the development process.
These gifts may also be made in honor of or in memory of an individual.
