USIP PUBLICATION FEATURES CSMHI'S WORK

The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Special Report No. 79, Training to Help Traumatized Populations, is available online. This report is the product of a two-day workshop on training approaches and perspectives on trauma relief, and was written by Judy Barsalou, director of the USIP's grant program. Dr. Vamik Volkan, then Center Director, represented the Center at this workshop, and shared theories and strategies drawn from the Center's work with healthcare professionals in the Republic of Georgia.
