Dr. Shupnik is a professor of Medicine and Physiology at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Shupnik's research focuses on "Regulation of gonadotropin gene transcription and modulation of estrogen receptor forms and biological actions".

Daniel J. Haisenleder, PhD
Director, Ligand Assay and Analysis Core
Dr. Haisenleder is an associate professor of Research at the University of Virginia.
The Center for Research in Reproduction Ligand Assay and Analysis Core provides high quality, cost-effective assay services for CRR projects and other Reproductive Sciences Branch-supported (both internal and external) projects. The Core's Mission is to (1) support an assay menu (for human, rat and mouse samples) required by the majority of reproductive investigators that access the Facility; (2) develop and validate new assays and modify current assays, as needed; (3) provide assistance and consultation regarding assay methodology, data reduction/analysis, data interpretation and biomathematical modeling to investigators that access our Core Facility.
