There is no charge to attend the award presentation and keynote lecture by Louis Sullivan, MD, on Friday, September 20, and the public is encouraged to attend. The registration fees for the Saturday portion of this course are $50 for Physicians and $25 for non-Physicians. The fees include syllabus materials, Omni Hotel Reception Friday night, Continental Breakfast and lunch on Saturday. UVA faculty and students are not being charged a conference fee, but are asked to make a donation to the Center on Health Disparities at UVA.

The University of Virginia School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Virginia School of Medicine designates this education activity for up to 6 hours in category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spends in the educational activity.
