Major Mike Jones

Since 1983, Mike Jones has held the position of Assistant Chief of Police for the Virginia Capitol Police in Richmond, Va. He has been the Executive Director of the Virginia Criminal Intelligence Association (VALID) in Richmond, Va., since 1990, has occupied a teaching position at Virginia Commonwealth University since 2001, and has been an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Bluefield College in Richmond, Va., since 1999. In his duties as Assistant Chief of Police, Major Jones works comprehensively to bridge the needs of Federal, State, and local Law enforcement.

Mr. Jones received an M. S. in Criminal Justice Administration and a B. S. in Criminal Justice Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., and a Certificate from the Virginia Academy of Forensic Science.
