Advocacy Portfolio

The "Advocacy Portfolio" is a tool to help you plan and keep track of your advocacy experiences during your pediatric residency.  Over the course of your three years in training, it is expected that you will become quite experienced and competent at individual patient advocacy and that you will address all of the individual patient advocacy components.    For the community, state, and federal advocacy components, it is expected that you will choose and complete at least 6 of the experiences listed here by the end of your residency training.  Please keep your advocacy portfolio up to date.  If you have any questions or need assistance in setting up an experience, page Dr. Diane Pappas at 961-4436 or email childadvocacy@virginia.edu.
