Welcome to Chaplaincy Services!
This site will introduce you to the services and programs that we offer within the UVA Health System and to the wider community. Our primary goal is to provide the very best pastoral care and counseling for patients, families, and staff within the hospital setting. Our second major goal is to provide the highest quality pastoral education for chaplain residents and interns as well as for health system staff, area clergy, religious organizations, and community groups. These goals help articulate our hope that while we provide immediate service to patients and their families, we hope we can be a resource for the ministries of area religious communities.
